What is Adhar Card?
Aadhar card is a 12-digit unique number which is random and
is issued to every Indian resident. The aadhaar number is a centralized unique
identification number. The biometric card stores an individual’s details in a
central database, which is issued by the government and over time the
government began to use it for public welfare and services.

submitted:
Proof of Address and
Proof of Identity
How to download aadhaar card online
visit the UIDAI website and choose either ‘Enrolment ID’ or
‘Aadhaar’
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID as well as other necessary details
After filling in the details click on get One Time Password
You will get a password on your phone via a text message, input the OTP and then click on ‘Validate and Download’
The e-Aadhaar will be downloaded on your computer
, which you
can open through a password as the file is password protected.
The password to
this E-Aadhaar PDF file is of 8 characters. The 8 character password
is a
combination of the first four letters of your name written in CAPITAL letters
(Name as mentioned in the Aadhaar card) and your Year of Birth (in YYYY
format. So, for example if your name is
Gourab and your year of birth is 1965, then your password will be GOUR1965.
